How to use your iPhone without any service

Today, Most people use smartphone in their everyday life. Without no doubt, smartphone makes people become more productive and work efficiently. Fast growth of smartphone today affect many telecommunication company to evolve. They provide not only voice and text message which very popular in the old times, but also data package. Users offered with many bundle package of their premium package with certain prices. I personally use iphone to support my everyday activities. The purpose of this article is to share some tips about how you can use your iPhone, even without activated plan.

Do you think it's possible ? Yes, it does. This become possible because growing communication apps for your smartphone and also wifi technology which covered most area in big cities. If you live in metropolitan area, I'm pretty sure that it's not that hard to find wifi in almost every corner of your city area. Here is some apps that I use to communicate using wifi.

1. Whatsapp

Thanks to the growing chat app. Many people now use chat application like whatsapp to communicate with their family, friends and colleagues. Not only text messages, they also offer voice call for their users to talk each other. The best part is you can do all of this with wifi connection.

2. Skype

One of many apps that I always installed in my iphone. If whatsapp offer chat and voice calls for communication, I personally use skype to do video call with my family or friends. Sometimes, we want to show something when we talk to our friends or family. This could be the best option to do that. Skype also offer text and voice communication with conference feature.

3. iPhone wifi calling

How about if our friend not using 2 apps above and we want to communicate with them ? This could be handy for iphone users. This is the feature that I like most within my iphone in term of communication. We can dial our friend or family numbers using wifi. The call recipient still see your phone number as the caller ID but the communication itself initiated through wifi protocol. How cool is that !

For the third option that I mention above, Apple only agree with the carrier which require it's user to have plan with them. You may ask, so what's the point if I must have a plan. Altough you must have a plan, you may meet certain conditions that it can be handy for you. For example, If you behind your bill with your carriers, This option still available to you. You can call even you don't have activated plan but still subscribe to your carriers. If you are in the US, this works with T-Mobile and AT&T. For Canada, you can use it with Bell and Rogers.
