How to update your Apple tvOS to 9.0.1



Recently, Apple has released an update for their new Apple TV. Your Apple TV will get the new tvOS 9.0.1. Here is how to update your tvOS :

If you enable Automatically Update on, your new Apple TV will install the new update automatically once it available. The other way is to install it manually. The following steps are used to update your tvOS to 9.0.1 :

- On your home screen, launch the Settings app

- Go to System and choose Software Updates in the Maintenance section

- Select Update Software.

- After you select it, if the update is available, it will tell you that an update is available.



- Choose Download and Install.

- Wait until the download is finished and it will ask you if you want to install the update.

- Choose Update Now

- The update process will begin and after finish, it will reboot your Apple TV.

- Your Apple TV is updated to 9.0.1

How to check your remote battery in the new Apple TV (and other bluetooth device too)



As you know, The Apple TV interface is not like your other apple device, even it still deliver best user experience like other Apple devices. If you often use your Siri remote and other bluetooth compatible device with your TV, you can't see it's battery level directly. Not like other device, such as iPhone, Apple TV not provide any battery style indicator in it's tvOS. Actually, there is a way to check your battery, but you need to go deeper within the tvOS in order to check this. Follow this step to check your battery level : 

- Choose settings from the menu, and then go to Remotes and Devices.
- Select Bluetooth.
- Choose your remote or other bluetooth device which paired with your Apple TV in order to read it's battery level
